THE SEVEN DAYS OF JOSH MURRΑY IN KYTHIRA DAY 3 ''KOMPONADA'

''I’ve been spoilt in my time. Memories of albino white sands framing the drinkable fresh waters of Lake Mckenzie on Fraser Island, the ‘Survivor’ remoteness of Lady Musgrave Island Australia – covered with tank-like tracks from the 200 giant green turtles hauling themselves up the beach to each push out and bury 60 eggs the night before. I’ve mingled with the wannabes ordering ‘locals daily salary’ priced Mohitos as smooth global sunset beats pump from Ku De Ta on Seminyak Beach, Bali. Vibrant Sari clad local women exchanged mutual looks of uncertainty on Varkala Beach India as I stood facing them in speedos. I am self-professed global coastline junkie looking for the next hit. Today with the sun back out of the closet I discovered the most perfect of perfects beach… without a doubt this title has today been graciously re-assigned. This is the place you want to pop in the post to everyone you know. It proportions flawless like that of a painstakingly manicured Japanese garden, every priceless pebble a well told story, the waves gently grabbing at the shore with its domed blue sky an endless indulgence, the temperature 25C ensuring just enough kiss without the clout… a complete package framed by ruggedly handsome cliff faces at either end. Strangely missing was the flashing neon sign saying ‘Welcome to perfection’..''
