G20 Summit Hangzhou — Tea Leaf Picking Dance | CCTV

Watch some experts from the cultural performance, “Hangzhou, A Living Poem”,

which featured a symphony concert and gala staged on the West Lake in Hangzhou, China.

The show, put together by Chinese director Zhang Yimou (the same person who directed

the Beijing 2008 Olympics ceremonies), was part of the G20 Summit being held there.

Apart from featuring various aspects of Chinese forklore, the standout performances were of:

Tchaikovsky’s “Excerpts from Swan Lake”, and Beethoven’s “Ode to Joy”.

It was an absolutely mesmerising experience and I thoroughly recommend,

that you take the time to watch them on full screen.
